
Laura Miles has been teaching private and/or group piano lessons for almost 20 years. Laura began taking piano lessons at age seven and later studied with Brandon Stewart, Chris Blonquist, and Dr. Robin Hancock at BYU. Laura received her bachelor's degree in music education from Brigham Young University where she studied music pedagogy, piano, organ, conducting, voice, and choral music. She was a teacher and trainer for the group piano program at the Art City Music Academy in Springville, UT for 5 years where she was mentored by Yvonne Blonquist. Laura also taught choir and general music at elementary and middle schools in Payson, UT and San Diego, CA and volunteers as the children's music leader at her church. Professionally, she is a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs and Music Teachers National Association.
In her free time, Laura loves to cook, organize, travel, and play board games. She lives in South Jordan, UT with her husband Mason and their two children.
